Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 7 May 2025

Welcome to the Dublin Craft Beer Tour! These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in any tour organised by Martin Meany, trading as Dublin Craft Beer Tour (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking and/or participating in the tour, you agree to be bound by the terms below. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility and Participant Responsibility

All participants must be 18 years or older. Proof of age may be requested at any time. Failure to provide valid ID when requested will result in removal from the tour without refund.
The tour involves 3–4 hours of walking across city streets and varied terrain. Participants must be in good health and reasonably fit. If you have any medical conditions that may affect your ability to complete the tour, please contact us before booking.
Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own comprehensive travel insurance, which should cover personal accident, medical expenses, loss or theft of personal belongings, and cancellation.

2. Tour Structure and Conduct

The tour involves visiting multiple independent craft beer venues, with some stops at local historical or cultural points of interest.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times. Anyone acting in a disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate manner may be asked to leave the tour without refund.
The consumption of alcohol is included, and participants are expected to drink responsibly and adhere to local laws and venue policies.

3. Health and Safety Advice

We encourage all guests to hydrate well before and during the tour and to eat a proper meal in advance. Drinking alcohol on an empty stomach or while dehydrated increases the risk of illness or early intoxication.
While light snacks may be available at some venues, a full meal is not included in the tour. Please plan accordingly for your own comfort and wellbeing.

4. Liability Waiver

By joining the Dublin Craft Beer Tour, you acknowledge and accept that participation is entirely at your own risk.
We accept no liability for injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, or for incidents occurring at venues not owned or operated by us.
You waive any right to make claims against the organiser to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Customer cancellations:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling (subject to availability).
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time are non-refundable.

Operator cancellations:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to extreme weather, public safety concerns, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

No-shows will not be refunded under any circumstances.

6. Booking, Group Size, and Payment

Tours typically run with a group size of 8 to 12 people.
All bookings must be made online via our website: https://dublincraftbeertour.com
We do not accept walk-ins or in-person payments.
Payments are processed securely through our website’s payment gateway.

7. Acceptance of Terms

During the booking process, participants must tick a box confirming that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
This agreement is legally binding and required to complete your reservation.

8. Itinerary Changes

The tour itinerary, including the venues and route, is subject to change without notice due to operational needs or availability.
Substitute venues or stops will always be of a similar nature and standard.
No partial refunds will be provided for such changes.

9. Alcohol Consumption and Behaviour

This is an alcohol-inclusive tour. Participants are expected to consume alcohol responsibly.
Anyone who becomes excessively intoxicated or causes disruption may be removed from the tour at the discretion of the guide and will not be entitled to a refund.
Venues retain the right to refuse service in accordance with Irish licensing laws.

10. Photography and Media

Photographs and video footage may be taken during the tour for use on our website, social media channels, or promotional materials.
By participating, you grant us permission to use such media. If you prefer not to appear in any images, please inform your guide before the tour begins.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with Irish and EU data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except where required to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or related to your participation in the Dublin Craft Beer Tour shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
